Terms of Service — Canada
These Terms govern your use of iSALUS in Canada and apply in addition to the Consumer Protection Act (Quebec) and equivalent provincial consumer laws.
1. Who we are
iSALUS is operated by iSALUS Technologies Inc., Montréal, Québec, Canada. We connect customers with independent cleaning professionals. We are a technology platform; the cleaning service itself is provided by the independent professional.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18+ and able to enter a binding contract under the laws of your province.
3. Bookings & pricing
Prices are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include GST/QST (Quebec), HST (Ontario, Maritimes) or applicable provincial taxes shown at checkout. Final price is what you see before payment. Surge pricing may apply for ASAP or off-hours requests and is always disclosed.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. iSALUS does not store your card details. We act as a limited payment collection agent for the cleaning professional.
5. Cancellations & refunds
See our Refund Policy. Under Quebec's Consumer Protection Act you may cancel a distance contract within 10 days of receiving the contract under specified conditions.
6. Conduct
Harassment, discrimination, fraud, or unsafe behaviour will result in immediate suspension. Customers must provide a safe work environment for the cleaning professional.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, iSALUS's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific job. Cleaning professionals carry their own commercial liability insurance.
8. Disputes
Quebec residents: any dispute will be governed by the laws of Quebec, with exclusive jurisdiction in the district of Montréal. Other provinces: governed by the laws of the customer's province of residence.
9. Languages
Conformément à la Charte de la langue française, la version française de ces conditions prévaut au Québec.
